Job Summary
Youth Services Assistant Librarian responsible for planning and conducting youth programs, assisting families with library resources, performing outreach to schools and daycare centers, creating engaging displays, and maintaining knowledge of youth literature and Dewey Decimal practices. Requires knowledge of library science, technology, and customer service; ability to develop age-appropriate programs, present information effectively, and collaborate with library customers and staff. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a valid Ohio driver’s license are required. Salary ranges from $19.99 to $21.74 per hour for a 40-hour week with a varied schedule.
