Job Summary
The Youth Services Advisor is responsible for coordinating and implementing youth services and programming for individuals ages 12-24 across a three-county region. Key responsibilities include developing curricula, preparing youth for the workforce, managing summer paid work experience programs, monitoring program effectiveness, and collaborating with community stakeholders to improve program outcomes. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, demonstrated experience in youth services, and computer proficiency. The position demands sound judgment and strong communication skills for effective engagement with youth and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, Social Work, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in providing youth vocational services/youth program delivery
- Experience and knowledge of standard computer programs including Microsoft 365
- Acceptable results for required background checks

- Knowledge of current best practices in the delivery of workforce development services

- Public speaking skills
- Ability to develop written business correspondence
- Ability to relate effectively to others
- Thorough knowledge of customer service principles
