Job Summary
Supervise, mentor, and support Youth Mentors and program staff while overseeing daily operations of the Youth Services Program. Recruit, interview, hire, train, and onboard new employees; create schedules and coordinate staffing needs. Ensure safe, engaging, and inclusive after-school and summer programming for youth ages 5-18, including those with disabilities. Work directly with youth when additional support is needed, partner with the Youth Services Manager to develop programming, and build relationships with families, schools, and community partners. Foster an inclusive environment where youth develop social and life skills, assist with documentation and planning, and promote positive behavior supports. Ensure compliance with agency policies and program standards.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including daytime and evening hours
- Experience using Microsoft Office and other computer software
- Valid driver's license (preferred if required by position)
- Reliable transportation with required insurance coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, Education, Recreation Therapy, Business, Communications, or a related field
- OR a combination of education and at least three years of human services experience
- Experience supervising employees or leading teams
- Experience working with youth and/or individuals with disabilities
- Experience with case management or developmental assessments
- Knowledge of positive behavior supports, proactive behavioral approaches, or precision teaching
- Youth program management or community-based programming experience
