Job Summary
Supervise a shift of Youth Program Specialists responsible for security and control of youth at the facility; ensure adherence to treatment and programming; serve as first responder to emergencies; maintain consistent facility operations including scheduling for staff and youth; conduct investigations into incidents; use Handle with Care principles to manage emergency and crisis situations and maintain a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment across the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience in social work, criminal justice, counseling and guidance, human development and the family, psychology, behavioral health care, education, social/behavioral sciences, nursing/patient care, delinquency prevention or related area
- Experience leading, coordinating, directing, monitoring and/or supervising others
- Must be age 21 to work with youth located at YRTC
