Youth Safeguarding & Autonomy Intern

Youth Safeguarding & Autonomy Intern supports design and improvement of Youth Safeguarding and Youth Autonomy trainings, makes them more engaging and aligned with real-world contexts, leads updates to Ashoka’s Youth Autonomy Toolkit with staff and young people, conducts research on the insurance landscape affecting youth-serving organizations, helps identify opportunities to influence the field, engages with young people and educators to gather insights, and contributes to internal strategy and external-facing materials. The role requires strong research and writing, comfort working independently in a remote environment, collaboration across a distributed team, openness to learning from young people as co-leaders, and a drive to contribute to systemic change in youth development and safeguarding.
