Job Summary
Supervise safe arrival and departure of children and clean up the area before departure. Attend all necessary trainings and meetings, report to shifts on time, and notify the Program Director of cancellations within 24 hours or find a substitute from the approved list. Learn and adhere to YMCA rules, policies, and procedures, while updating staff, members, and parents about program, event, or child processes as needed. Report any incidents immediately to the Program Director. Obtain a criminal record clearance if over 18 years old.
Required Qualifications
- Attend all necessary trainings and meetings
- Report to shift on time
- Call within 24 hours (or as soon as you are aware of cancellations) and find a sub from approved list when possible
- Supervise safe arrival and departure of children
- Clean up area before departure
- Report any incidents to the Program Director
- Learn and adhere to YMCA rules, policies, and procedures
- Update staff, members, and parents about program/event/child process as needed
- Ability to obtain a criminal record clearance, if over 18 years old
