Job Summary
Manage School Age Child Care, Summer Camp, and Youth Enrichment programs by leading staff supervision, handling hiring and payroll, and overseeing curriculum planning and evaluation. Direct daily operations including enrollment management, budget stewardship, and logistics coordination to ensure safe, high-quality experiences aligned with YMCA standards. Lead marketing initiatives, fundraising efforts, and community outreach while maintaining compliance with licensing and safety regulations. This fully on-site role requires evening and weekend availability and current CPR/AED certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2-3 Years Experience working with Youth in a School aged childcare background
- Supervisory experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as required by program schedules
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
- Bloodborne Pathogens, Child Abuse Prevention, Sexual Harassment, and other program specific courses
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand; walk; reach with hands or arms
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to sit
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to talk or hear
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
