Job Summary
Inspect fields and courts for safety hazards, set up seating, and manage scorekeeping during Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, and Softball games. Communicate with team captains and spectators regarding schedule changes, rule interpretations, and conflicts, while assisting officials with protests and weather issues. Secure equipment after games, maintain records including accident reports and timesheets, and collect roster forms. Handle concession stand operations, ensuring accurate cash handling and register procedures. Follow all City of Blue Springs ordinances and policies. Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or vocational training
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Skilled in effective verbal communication
- Ability to react professionally during emergencies
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work well with patrons of all ages
- Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to sit

- Must be able to frequently use hands to operate, finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or office machines
