Job Summary
Ghostwrite thought leadership articles, executive content, and case studies for a nonprofit organization, transforming interviews and insights into publication-ready materials. Conduct interviews with internal stakeholders, nonprofit leaders, and partners to gather subject matter expertise. Develop annual report content and strategic communications assets while adapting writing styles to match multiple contributor voices. Collaborate closely with communications teams through the editorial process, revising content based on feedback and adhering to brand guidelines. Deliver high-quality storytelling assets including website articles and newsletter content. This role offers 100 hours within four months with potential for extension, supporting a NYC-based client that empowers mission-driven organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with nonprofits, foundations, associations, or community-focused organizations
- Knowledge of youth development, education, philanthropy, fundraising, or nonprofit operations
- Experience writing content intended for media placement and publication
- Background in strategic communications or public affairs
- Familiarity with LinkedIn thought leadership programs
