Job Summary
Lead weekly sports enrichment classes for children ages 5-10 at after-school programs in South San Francisco, ensuring a safe and reliable environment through punctual attendance and proper setup. Assist in teaching multi-sport activities while interacting positively with parents, teachers, and school staff. Complete orientation training and maintain accurate attendance records throughout the season. This part-time role runs from September 8th to December 2026, with a time commitment of 6-10 hours per week between 2pm and 6pm. Candidates must have reliable transportation and pass a federal, state, and TB background check. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $25-30.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to coaching sites
- Vehicle (helpful)
- Strong communication skills
- Pass a Federal and state Background Check and/or FBI Fingerprinting (Livescan)
- Test negative for TB test (within the last 4 years)
- Must be available for the entire season
- Must be available for Tuesday-Thursday afternoons
- Must be available for the entire season
- Must be available to coach in the afternoon on your program day (at least one day/week)
- Must arrive on time each week on your program day for the entire season
- Must attend an orientation training in person
- Must be a patient person who understands young children & their need to develop at their own pace
- Must share deep beliefs in sportsmanship, wellness, and positivity
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a player or coach (at least two years)
