Job Summary
Develop healthy relationships with adults, teens, and local community members while serving as a role model within a military installation chapel environment. Lead and oversee the Young Life Military program (Club Beyond), fostering ecumenical outreach to unchurched teens and equipping volunteers for hands-on middle and high school Christian youth programs. Navigate high turnover among teens, families, and chaplains by building vibrant connections that support identity and belonging for military adolescents. Live near the community to provide incarnational ministry, utilizing small event planning skills to generate resiliency and hope. Requires a three-year commitment with a base salary of $45,000 to $60,000 at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to make a three-year commitment
- Minimum of three years' youth ministry experience preferred
- Competent communicator with youths, parents, and senior military leaders
- Teachable heart
- Committed to a relational ministry approach
