Job Summary

Lead elementary students in enrichment activities and foster youth development within our after school setting. Guide students through program components while modeling wholeheartedness and serving as a role model for their community. Maintain Monday through Friday availability from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year. This role requires adherence to our Statement of Faith and completion of mandatory background checks and CPR/First Aid certification. Spanish-speaking ability is greatly valued. Required Qualifications

  • Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
  • Must be at least 17 years of age
  • Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
  • Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification
  • Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
  • Valid driver's license or Valid ID
  • Legally allowed to work in the United States
  • Have dependable transportation

Desired Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • some post-secondary training highly preferred
  • Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
  • Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
  • Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
