Job Summary
Youth Mentor provides safety and around-the-clock in-person supervision of youth at a secure residential facility. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and skill development. Youth Services Workers monitor and document behaviors and activities, and participate in educational, social, athletic and recreational activities, collaborating with other professional staff to establish and meet each youth's treatment plan. Schedule: day shifts, 8:30a–9p, 7 days in a 2-week pay period, including every other weekend. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 21 years old, ability to pass a criminal background check, physical, TB test, and child abuse registry clearance. Pay starts at $18/hour with annual raises and a $1,000 bonus after successful completion of essential skills training within 90 days.
