Job Summary
Lead elementary students in enrichment activities within our after school setting, fostering youth development through guided ministry and role modeling. Conduct daily programming that supports kids in reaching their full potential while embodying the organization's commitment to serving families and providing eternal hope. Maintain mandatory CPR/First Aid certification and pass background checks, utilizing dependable transportation to deliver care Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar. Spanish-speaking ability is greatly valued for connecting with our community.
Required Qualifications
- Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
- Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
- Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification
- Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
- Valid driver's license or Valid ID
- Legally allowed to work in the United States
- Have dependable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- some post-secondary training highly preferred
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
- Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
