Job Summary
Provide direct supervision and care for male youth in a REGIONS Staff Secure Residential Treatment Program. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, trauma-informed, gender-responsive environment; de-escalation and Safe Crisis Management (SCM) techniques; conducting and facilitating groups using DBT coaching; completing accurate logs; enforcing program policies; transporting youth to appointments; participating in discharge planning; and collaborating with the treatment team. Requires high school diploma or GED or higher, valid CT driver’s license, and flexibility for evening/night shifts (Thursday–Monday). Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred; pre-service training and shadowing are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or higher
- Experience working with at risk or court-involved adolescents
- Experience in residential treatment programs
- Valid CT driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to transport clients to appointments and into the community
- Willingness to complete pre-service training and shadowing
- Bi-lingual ability preferred (Spanish/English)
