Job Summary
Plan, deliver, and supervise youth programs for club members, focusing on de-escalating behavioral incidents, implementing PBIS, and modeling positive behavior. Lead peer mediation, restorative practices, and social-emotional learning activities; supervise youth across gym, games room, and classrooms; prepare instructional materials and serve as a chaperone for field trips. Maintain detailed case notes and attendance, assist in growth plans, and act as a liaison between youth, families, schools, and community resources. Requires safety-conscious leadership, trauma-informed approaches, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours; background check and drug screening required; 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Enrollment in or completion of college courses in related fields is highly preferred
- Must pass a strict criminal background check and a drug screening
- Experience with PBIS or restorative justice is a major plus
- Experience with at-risk youth and urban/under-resourced settings is strongly valued
- Ability to work after-school hours, weekends, and special events
- 18 years of age or older
