Youth Golf Instructor

Youth Golf Instructor needed to provide free beginner golf lessons to NYC children at City parks locations (Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, La Tourette in Staten Island, and CityParks Junior Golf Center in Brooklyn). Responsibilities include demonstrating and teaching daily lesson plans, coordinating with 1-2 other coaches to manage large groups, transporting equipment as needed, monitoring weekly attendance, answering parents’ questions, arriving promptly at designated sites, and adhering to the First Tee curriculum. Must be able to travel to various park sites, carry equipment, and maintain accurate participant records. Requires strong playing ability, effective communication, and ability to work with diverse groups; background check and SafeSport training required. Compensation ranges from $17 to $40 per hour (temporary positions). City Parks Foundation does not offer visa sponsorship.
