Job Summary
Recruit, enroll, and support eligible youth to achieve academic success and career readiness through case management, career guidance, and program coordination aligned with WIOA requirements. Conduct eligibility screenings, interviews, and assessments to determine program fit, then develop and maintain Individual Service Strategies for each participant. Assist youth in exploring career pathways, developing résumés, and preparing for interviews while coordinating work experiences, internships, and job placements. Build relationships with employers to develop quality work-based learning opportunities and accurately document all activities in the WIOA data management system. Maintain contact with participants for a minimum of 12 months post-exit to verify employment or education status and ensure long-term success. Uphold Brightpoint's mission and core values in all interactions with participants, colleagues, and community stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social service, Counseling, Business, Education or a related discipline
- Experience working with youth accompanied by knowledge of adolescent development issues
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Willing to work in a high accountability and performance-based program
- Working knowledge of basic computer operations, software applications, such as Microsoft Office, case management data programs
- A positive, professional attitude and commitment to supporting youth development
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 on auto insurance
