Job Summary
The Youth Engagement Specialist (YES) assists in program implementation and youth engagement, working closely with the Kīpuka Youth Programs Team. Responsibilities include supporting program enrollment, facilitating daily operations, collaborating on program planning and evaluation, and providing administrative support. The role requires engaging directly with youth, fostering trusting relationships, and ensuring culturally relevant practices. Candidates must have a high school diploma, at least 6 months of youth work experience, a valid driver’s license, and be First Aid and CPR certified.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- At least 6 months to 1 year experience working with youth in a group setting
- Valid driver's license
- Clean traffic abstract
- TB clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with vulnerable youth
- Knowledge of community resources and services
- Cultural competence
- First Aid, CPR/AED certified
