Youth Engagement Specialist - Overnights

Job Summary

Conduct face-to-face support and intervention for assigned youth across the Youth Engagement Center, Safe Haven, and Rights of Passage during 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts. Perform intakes, discharges, and phone answers while ensuring youth safety, building security, and maintaining accurate documentation for files and ETO reporting. Engage youth in educational, vocational, and life-skill programming, providing trauma-informed services and assisting with plan outcomes. Collaborate with internal staff and community partners to implement engagement activities, manage crisis situations, and participate in shift change meetings. Commit to personal growth through organization training and maintain active listening and rapport with at-risk youth.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic understanding of adolescent development and behaviors
  • Ability to relate to at-risk youth

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications
