Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus. They reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and mentorship for groups of 8–13 students, including daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on/three-off initial schedule and eventual placement as a sole Houseparent in a dedicated home. Qualifications include youth experience, a legally married two-person couple (both spouses 27+), high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to smoke-free and weapon-free campus policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
