Job Summary
Two-person Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and lead developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a consistent student-home assignment. Requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses age 27 or older, and relocation to the Hershey, PA area. Comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role requires both spouses to apply individually
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
