Youth Development Specialist - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Full-time Flex Houseparents (married couple) provide care, guidance, supervision, and program support for a group of approximately 8–13 students in on-campus homes at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, mentoring, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from rotating Home duties to a placed Houseparent role. The schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation to the Hershey, PA area and on-campus housing provided as part of role transition. Requires high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ability to work as a two-person married couple aged 27 or older; commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and to comply with proscriptions on alcohol and campus rules. Two-person role with formal consideration requiring both spouses to complete independent applications.
