Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents who reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in development/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Initially supporting multiple student homes with a nine-on, three-off duty schedule, with eventual placement as Placed Houseparents living with the same group of students. Offers relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and housing/meal provisions as part of the total compensation. Requires a two-year married status, age 27+, HS diploma or GED, driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Relocation assistance provided
