Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School's on-campus homes provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Couples reside together in assigned homes and follow a nine consecutive days on duty, three days off schedule, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Qualifications include experience with youth, a two-person married couple requirement (both spouses age 27+), a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, valid U.S. driver’s license, and willingness to lead in Judeo-Christian chapel services (proselytizing prohibited).
