Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a two-person, married-couple role living in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship and care, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, manage household routines and budgeting, and report on household operations. The role follows a nine-on, three-off schedule with eventual placement as a Houseparent in the same student home, with relocation to Hershey, PA and on-campus housing included in compensation. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
