Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus youth-care role for married couples as Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Residents oversee a group of 8–13 students in a home setting, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and structured routines, including administering medications, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, coordinating student schedules, and leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance. The position begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and may transition into a Placed Houseparent role with the same student group. Relocation assistance and full benefits are included; compensation is approximately $46,917 per person (about $180,000 per couple total). Candidates must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, possess a high school diploma or GED, have a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student vans, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The role requires commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus and includes paid training and on-campus housing and meals on duty.
Required Qualifications

- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty

- Desire to reside in on-campus homes and supervise 8–13 students
