Job Summary
Conduct daily supervision, mentorship, and household management for a group of 8–13 students in an on-campus home. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and lead devotions and recreational engagement. Manage budgeting and household reporting while maintaining a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. Transition into a Placed Houseparent role after initial support of various homes. Requires a legally married couple, both 27+, with youth experience and valid driver's licenses.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
