Job Summary
Two-person on-campus, full-time Flex Houseparents responsible for supervising 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent where the same group of students are housed together. The role offers relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; compensation is approximately $180,000 total per couple (about $46,917 per person) with housing, meals on duty, utilities, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver''s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
