Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with an initial nine days on / three days off schedule and eventual placement in a fixed student home. Derives relocation assistance and paid training; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, life/disability insurance, and paid time off. Requires high school diploma or GED, both spouses legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and compliance with campus rules (smoke-free and weapon-free; limited pets). Positions are on-campus with housing provided and relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
