Job Summary
Two-person married couple will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a consistent student group. The role includes relocation to Hershey, PA, with relocation assistance and paid training; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, and housing/meal provisions as part of total compensation. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two spouses married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Prolonged standing and supervision duties in a residence setting
