Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role located on an on-campus student home, providing supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of students; duties include medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, daily devotions and chapel attendance, household budgeting, and reporting. The position begins with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a consistent student-home setting. Requires married, age-27-or-older spouses; high school diploma or GED; valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to lift 50 lbs; willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA (with relocation assistance) and to work in a smoke- and weapon-free campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
