Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, including supervising daily routines, scheduling, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and engaging in developmentally appropriate activities. The position follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off work cycle, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; able to be role models
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
