Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living and working with the same group of students in their own home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Two-person married couple required for the role
- must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- no more than three dependent children in the student home
- valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- no alcohol on duty
- smoke-free and weapon-free campus
