Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role to reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing supervision, mentorship, and support for groups of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-person role – both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Must be legally married for at least two years
