Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents: married couple roles residing in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and developmental opportunities for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, scheduling, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in the same student home as a Placed Houseparent. Offers relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and a total compensation package for couples around $180,000. Must be legally married, age 27+, and meet other youth-care qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- ability to lift to 50 lbs
- two-year married couple
- both spouses age 27 or older
- experience with youth
- no more than three dependent children in home
- smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- proselytizing prohibited
Additional Requirements
- two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years
- both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- no alcohol on duty
