Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a two-person, married-couple role residing in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Responsibilities include managing household routines, budgeting, and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid time off, and relocation assistance. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, the ability to pass driving certification for student vans, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol while on duty. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Chapel services
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
