Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents living on an on-campus student home at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and guiding daily devotions along with Sunday Chapel. The role progresses from initial assignment to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year marriage minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
