Job Summary
Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, and support for a group of students, manage household routines, supervise and mentor youth, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition to a placed houseparent role. This is a two-person, full-time role for legally married couples (both spouses must participate in separate applications). Benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement, relocation assistance, paid training, and salary of $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total for a couple) with housing and meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
