Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially support multiple student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person and comprehensive benefits; relocation assistance and paid training provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Relocation to Hershey, PA
