Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, and handling budgeting and reporting. The role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Relocation assistance is provided along with comprehensive benefits. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a legally married two-year partnership where both spouses are at least 27 years old; compliance with campus conduct policies is required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model responsibilities for students
- Willingness to complete individual employment applications for both spouses
