Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) on Milton Hershey School campus, residing in on-site student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, manage budgeting and household reporting, with an initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, and eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with full relocation assistance, medical/dental/vision coverage, retirement options, paid time off, and on-campus housing meals. Requires two spouses who are legally married for at least two years, both aged 27+, and high school diploma or GED; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans; commitment to a safe, alcohol-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person married couple role
- Both spouses 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited (daily devotions and chapel)
- Experience with youth (working or volunteering)
- Live on campus in a student home (on-campus housing)
