Job Summary
Full-time flex houseparent couples reside on campus in student homes, supervising 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support; responsibilities include daily supervision, household routines, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting. The role starts with a nine-on / three-off schedule and can transition to a placed houseparent living in a dedicated student home; relocation assistance and paid training are provided, with benefits and housing included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role requires living with students and guiding behavior
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Proven experience working with youth or volunteering with youth
- Two-person collaboration and mutual employment submission required for consideration
