Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting, and transition from nine-on/three-off schedules to a placed houseparent assignment with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are included; salary per person listed with total compensation for the couple reflected in benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement and being legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model behavior for students

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- No alcohol permitted while on duty

- Judeo-Christian chapel attendance and proselytizing restrictions
