Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Partners reside in on-campus student homes, supervise 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, and support, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and progressively transition from nine days on/three days off to a placed houseparent assignment with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth

- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Two-spouse role
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- No alcohol on duty
- Smoke-free, weapon-free campus
