Job Summary
Two-person married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, reside in on-campus student homes, and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent role with a consistent student home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
