Job Summary
Two-person Flex Houseparent role: a full-time on-campus position for married couples living in student homes, providing care, supervision, guidance, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; ultimately transition to a placed houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; salary of $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total compensation per couple) with free housing and other benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married commitment for both spouses
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work in a smoke-free and weapon-free campus environment
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Two-person role for married couples
