Job Summary
Two-person married couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on campus to supervise and support a group of approximately 8–13 students per home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. Initially, nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required; benefits include a salary of $46,917 per person (about $180,000 total per couple with housing and meals), comprehensive health/dental/vision insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
