Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School to reside in on-campus student homes, supervising and guiding 8–13 students, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and managing household routines and budgeting. Initially working a nine-on, three-off schedule with eventual placement in a single student home, with relocation assistance provided and comprehensive benefits. This two-person, married-couple role requires both spouses to be employed separately and meet age/qualification criteria.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
