Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on an on-campus student-home living arrangement. Couples reside with a group of about 8–13 students, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and supervision of household routines; administer medications; drive students to activities; plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities; lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel; oversee budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, and comprehensive benefits with relocation assistance and paid training. Requires high school diploma or GED, two years married, both spouses aged 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to drive student vans, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two spouses; legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Two-person role for couples; completed individual applications for consideration
